BASTARDIZÉR is a musical project of two "apparatuses", veterans of Czech scene, sailing across the endless seas of hardcore punk music for more than a quarter of a century. Tired of the stereotypical fish-and-chips realities of such scene and inspired by the magnum opus "2 Amigos" by the doyen of obscure Iraqi electronica Samir Hauser, both "bastardos" Barney and Karlos went onto a warpath to make their synthetic wet dreams of "Duo Yamaha" true in mid-2023.

The original many-year residence of both "bastardos" in Hradec Králové - a city that is in its essence a "geographical problem" (™ Jarda Švejdík) - inevitably took its toll in the form of a distorted perception of reality and a sense of aesthetics. Typical manifestations of these distortions can be found in many BASTARDIZÉR' songs - frenetic double-bass drum parts combined with melodic lines á la Modern Talking, hardcore singing in parts where any sane person would expect kind of sweet voice like Taylor Swift-ish, or the shameless inclusion of any muzak in the repertoire. Well, every little child in the whole wide world knows that "you can drive the apparatus out of Hradec, but you can never drive Hradec out of the apparatus." (™ Rudyard Kipling).

As the duo performs live in quite unorthodox line-up consisting of acoustic drum set and a mere vocals while everything else is matter of back tracks played from devices mounted in a single, huge rack, they've got the nickname "the band on wheels" pretty quickly.
